UNDERSTAND DANISH CULTURE AND SOCIETY

What are the underlying values of Danish culture, and what structures define Danish society? How does this affect your meeting with the Danes in your everyday life? In 3 free webinars we dig into Danish culture, values and societal structures and look for answers about the differences – and similarities – that you experience living as an international in Denmark.

By giving you insights into the underlying values and structures of the culture and society you now live in, we wish to help you understand the differences and make your start in Denmark easier.

The program consists of 3 webinars:

  • Danish Culture, Values and Norms (September 28th, 2021)
  • The Danish Political System & the Welfare Principles (October 28th, 2021)
  • The Danish Labor Market & Educational System (November 24th, 2021)

The format of the webinars will be a mix of presentation, break-out sessions and Q&A.

All webinars are conducted by Anatolie Cantir, who is a lecturer at VIA University College. He is originally from Moldova and has lived in Herning for more than 16 years.

Lene Møller Fløe from Ikast-Brande Kommune and Mette Klarskov Hebel from Herning Kommune will be moderating the webinars.

You are welcome to participate whether you have just arrived in Denmark, or you have lived here for several years.
