Our task is through innovation and the use of the latest technology, to help Danish companies succeed. We work closely with our members, which include several of the leading companies in the metal processing and machining industry.
DAMRC was established by the industry for industry, and our work is divided into four main categories: R&D, technology transfer, education, and support for the benefit of the manufacturing industry, academia and public institutions.
DAMRC core areas are within residual stress and machining together with several optimization technologies, including modal analysis (tap test). For example, we work with the removal of residual stress in materials using the technology Vibratory Stress Relief (VSR) as well as Vibrations during Welding (VDW). VSR and VDW technology can replace thermal treatment of materials in different steps and processes in the production line and ensure that we end up with a slimmer, greener, cost-effective, and productive production.
We have been working with VSR technology since 2013 and are today the leading R&D center in Northern Europe within VSR technology - DAMRC mediates, trains practitioners, and implements the technology in the industry in the northern part of Europe and further develops the technology.
