GreenLab is the green energy park of the future for companies that want to contribute to the green transition.
The energy park generates sustainable energy, which is supplied to the companies in the form that suits them. The energy is then converted into heat, electrofuel and other green products. The energy park is all connected by the so-called SymbiosisNet - an intelligent network of energy and data that enables companies to share the energy and resources they have in surplus.
GreenLab is also a frontrunner in PtX and expects to be working on the world's first full-scale 12 MW PtX production facilities at the beginning of 2023. PtX is absolutely crucial for the green transition.
A technology catalyst and a national research center
GreenLab is the test center for some of the world's most talented researchers dealing with the challenges connected to sustainable energy solutions. Here, researchers create practice out of theory and use GreenLab's research and innovation platform. GreenLab's ambition is to create new markets for technology and energy companies that want to explore and capitalize on sustainable production and PtX technologies.
An ambitious example with local roots, growth and increased employment
GreenLab skive is a great example of an ambitious project, with a strong regional foundation and a long, tough move, that is about to unfold as a business development effort for the benefit of growth and employment. Since 2008, Skive Municipality has focused on the area's strongholds within energy and innovation and established a municipal unit to lead the effort. The municipal unit was successful in bringing together a group of companies around the desire to establish an energy symbiosis. In 2014, GreenLab Skive began to take shape, and at this point, the municipality separated their commercial activities to a commercial fund. GreenLab helps to attract highly qualified talent to the area, and also - in collaboration with external partners - takes responsibility for the training of the future workforce in green energy.
