Royal Run in Herning

The Royal Run is a large folk festival where you have the opportunity to run with the Danish royal family and this year the folk festival is coming to Herning!

Every year the Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and the family put on their running shoes and run together with people in Denmark with the primary aim of inspiring more people to exercise. The first race was held in 2018, on the occasion of the Crown Prince Frederik's 50th birthday, which makes this year's Royal Run the 5th time people in Denmark run together

Anyone can join!

Everyone has the opportunity to participate in this folk festival - regardless of age and fitness level. You can choose to walk or run the three distances: One mile (1.6 km), 5 km and 10 km. On the popular Family Mile, children, young people, adults and the elderly can participate, as the route is adjusted to wheelchairs, push chairs and strollers
